Life in Vietnam would be perfect if everyone were totally equal.  Do you agree or disagree?  Explain your answer in complete sentences.

I disagree with it because everyone has their own advantages and disadvantages. Things they can do and cannot. Some better than other, some are not as good. Some do right things and some do not. Some are disability and some are not. Our life is balance from the positive side and the negative side of everything.

You are designing a society in which everyone is equal. What are the laws?

1. Treat others equally as you treat yourself
2. Everyone will be paid the same amount of salary
3. The smart people will have to help the lower educated people to catch up
4. You muse know when to behave equally
5. No handicap will be need
6. There won't be any beg and steal and lie and cheat
7. Everyone must have the abilities to do the same things
8. Everyone will have to eat the same type of food everyday

What would you do to help people who were less capable mentally, physically, or socially to “catch up”?

Teach them more until they catch up what they need to catch up.

What problems can you foresee that might come in a society with laws that force “equality for all”? How would you handle those problems?

No one will be unique and they won't do anything better than other. There won't be history. There won't be competition. Their won't be school. NOTHING good will happen if everything and everyone are literally equal. Because then, we cannot feel anything. It's like living in jail where events of the day happens over and over like our memories will be record.

Do you believe that total equality is possible, or would human nature make sure that some people would eventually dominate others?

It's possible to make everyone equal because everyone aren't the same, they are equal. They live like others, talk like others, and maybe enjoy their lives like others even they feel bad but it's an experience of enjoying their lives.

In what situations have you felt similarly to any of the characters? What persons, places, or ideas from your own experience came to mind while you were reading this story? Try to list as least two examples.

1. When China invaded Vietnam, the Chinese made the Vietnamese to work until we all went against them.
2. I feel like I'm Hazel in the story because I forget things lots. I forgot my book, I forgot to do this and that, etc. Hazel forgot that her son got killed by Diana and her agents or soldiers.
